Erin Slaver (born January 8, 1988) is an American musician, violinist, singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her classical training, work as a touring and session musician, and performances on television. Slaver is also recognized for her musical collaboration with her husband, actor and musician Chris Carmack, as part of the alt-pop duo Life On Eris. She has appeared as a performing musician on projects including the ABC drama Nashville and has toured with numerous prominent artists.

Erin Slaver was born on January 8, 1988, in the United States. She began playing the violin at the age of three and pursued extensive classical music training throughout her youth. Slaver continued her musical studies at Stony Brook University, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance, serving as concertmaster for her university orchestra for several years.
Music Career
Slaver’s career spans multiple genres, including classical, bluegrass, jazz, and pop. She has worked as a professional instrumentalist, performing violin, fiddle, mandolin, and providing vocal harmonies. For five years, Slaver was a fiddler and background singer with James Dolan’s band JD & The Straight Shot, playing at high-profile venues and tours alongside artists such as the Eagles, Chicago, the Doobie Brothers, and Jewel. She has also toured and backed country and pop artists including Martina McBride, Trace Adkins, Rod Stewart, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson, Lady A, Keith Urban, Jennifer Nettles, and Vince Gill.
Slaver has appeared as a musician on television, including playing the role of a backup singer on the ABC music drama Nashville (Seasons 1 and 2).
Life On Eris
Together with her husband Chris Carmack, Slaver formed the musical duo Life On Eris. The pair wrote, produced, and released their debut EP Stonewall in October 2020, blending influences from pop, Americana, and other genres.
