Alice Beck Dubow is an American jurist serving as a judge on the Superior Court of Pennsylvania, one of the state’s intermediate appellate courts. She has been on the bench since 2016 and previously served as a trial court judge in Philadelphia County. Dubow’s legal career spans over three decades, including significant roles in both public service and private practice.
Early Life and Education
Alice Beck Dubow earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1984.
Legal Career
After law school, Dubow began her legal career as a clerk for the Honorable Edward G. Biester on the Court of Common Pleas of Bucks County. She then spent more than 20 years in private and public legal practice, including positions as:

Beck, is a noted psychologist and co-founder of the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
